About Tavares Beverly
From a Chicago TV Set at 15 to a National Production Company
Entrepreneur, producer, coach, and thought leader — a career built on one belief: execution matters more than ideas alone.

The Story
Built From the Ground Up
Tavares Beverly’s career started early. At 15 years old, he was already working on a local television show in Chicago — learning what it meant to be on set, hit a mark, and deliver under pressure. Through high school, theater productions sharpened his instincts for performance and storytelling, and that path led to Florida Memorial University, where he earned a scholarship in musical theater production.
From there, Tavares trained and worked in two of the most demanding markets in entertainment: Los Angeles and New York. He didn’t take one seat — he took them all. Actor. Production assistant. Camera operator. Grip. Sound operator. Producer. Every role taught him a different piece of how great work actually gets made, and how teams function when the pressure is on.
In 2002, he put all of it to work and founded Beverly Boy Productions. What began as one man’s company has grown into a national video production firm serving businesses, agencies, healthcare organizations, universities, manufacturers, and enterprise clients across multiple markets — with a crew network that spans the country and a client list that includes Fortune 500 brands.
More than two decades of building has shaped a simple conviction: ideas are cheap — execution is everything. Plenty of people have a vision. Far fewer can organize the people, the plan, and the discipline to deliver it. That gap between idea and execution is where Tavares has spent his career, and it’s what he now teaches other leaders and teams.

Tavares In His Own Words
What Drives Him
Values Before Volume
Tavares leads with a set of values that haven’t changed since day one: communication, faith, family, legacy, trust, and long-term relationships. Clients don’t work with Beverly Boy Productions once — many have worked with the company for a decade or more. That kind of loyalty isn’t bought with marketing. It’s earned through showing up, communicating clearly, and delivering on every promise.
He also believes a platform comes with responsibility. Tavares uses his experience — and his company’s reach — to teach the next generation of creators, entrepreneurs, and leaders what he had to learn the hard way.
Beyond Production
Giving Back to the Craft
Over the years, Beverly Boy Productions has supported film festivals, film students, independent filmmakers, and educational initiatives across the industry. The company’s educational articles and production resources have been used by students, universities, and film programs as learning materials — extending Tavares’s impact well beyond client work and into the classrooms where the next generation of storytellers is being trained.
